Defence Journalism deals with the domain of National Security and Strategic Policy, which are the raison d'être of the Modern Nation State and the Westphalian System of Sovereignty. It is a specialized field of reporting within Media, and lies at the intersection of Military, Political and Foreign affairs of the country. The Course is being organized under National Atma Nirbhar Bharat Mission and Bharat Padhe Online programs of the Government of India. It draws insights from leading experts and the IAAN Research Foundation, one the most extensive efforts at the educational level to map and analyze military developments in the country. The course will explain what Defence Journalism is and how it influences societal and strategic realities on the ground.
